Common questions

Quick answers about renting and using a unit at either of our Nova Scotia locations. For anything specific to your account or lease, your signed rental agreement is always the final word.

How do I reserve a unit?

You can check current availability and rates, and reserve online, directly through our booking portal. Links are available on each location's page, or you can call us at 902-908-2515.

What unit sizes are available?

Both of our locations offer multiple drive-up unit sizes. Check current availability online, where sizes and pricing are kept up to date.

How does billing work?

We bill on a simple 4-week cycle. Tenants manage their unit and payments online through our account portal. For full terms, refer to your signed rental agreement.

Is insurance required?

Tenants are required to carry insurance on stored items, as outlined in your rental agreement.

What can't I store in my unit?

Common restrictions across self storage facilities include hazardous or flammable materials, perishable food, live animals, and illegal items. Your rental agreement includes the complete list.

How should I pack and store my items?

Keep items elevated off the floor — on pallets, shelving, or similar — rather than placed directly on the ground, to help protect against moisture.

What security features do your facilities have?

Security features vary by location. See each location's page (Antigonish / Boylston) for specifics.

Do I need to give notice before moving out?

Please refer to your signed rental agreement for notice requirements.

This page covers general questions only. Your signed rental agreement is the governing document for your specific unit, billing, and lease terms — if anything here seems to conflict with it, the rental agreement applies.
